'it's bad boy, bitch'.
In honor of Bad Boy Records and the biopic film (in theatres today!) featuring the most successful artist on Bad Boy's label, The Notorious B.I.G., I have decided to post two videos. The videos are part one and part two of Bad Boy's perfomance at The Source Awards of 95'. P.Diddy (formerly known as Puff Daddy along with a string of other names), Craig Mack, Faith Evans, Biggie, Total, Junior Mafia and Lil' Kim all made an appearance. Bad Boy was doing the damn thing that year and came to show and prove in Los Angeles.

I'm going out to watch this movie (to the right, to the right) in a little bit and I must say I'm excited. I'm excited because this is one of the first biopic's about a rapper since Tupac Shakur's Tupac Resurrection in 2003. Not only that, but the last time I sat in a movie theatre that I knew would have an enthusiastic audience was when I watched Eminem's 8 Mile in 2002 - pretty long time! I love rapping along in those kind of movies. That's why for me, it's a must, must, must to watch these movies on opening night. I do have my own thoughts on how the movie's success will turn out though. I believe that the movie will do amazing in sales, but the reviews will be poor. The reason I say this is because while watching the trailers for the movie, I thought the acting was not believable. Don't get me wrong, they couldn't have found another Biggie closer in appearance, looks, and voice than Jamal Woolard (pictured above). It's just that it's sooo hard in general to cast actors for a movie when you already know who the characters are in real life. Maybe I'm wrong though - we'll see.
Enjoy the video. * The original YouTube links I wanted to post died, but I managed to find their final performance of the night doing "One More Chance."
